setup for generating acoustic drones
This setup was made to generate soundscapes for a headphone concert in Musikhuset Aarhus at Spor-festival 2010. The speakers play different frequencies which makes the metal plate resonate. The microphone is placed very close to the surface of the metal plate to grab the even the smallest vibrations and resonances. The acoustic sounds of the speakers mix with the resonance of the plate creating very deep and colorful drones.
